A breathtaking route on the bluffs above the Pacific, windswept moors that remind some visitors of Scotland. Wildflowers float in the meadows, whales spout December
through February, and a herd of 500 tule elk live in the grassy fields of Pierce Ranch, a historic and photogenic dairy ranch. Stroll around the buildings to discover interpretive signs. The entire loop is 9 miles round-trip.
