Nearly 37 miles of paved or crushed-limestone trails run
through downtown, South Side, and along the North Shore from Neville Island to Millvale, 5 miles up the Allegheny River. Need a bike? The city’s Blue Bikes program offers
free loaners. To get a swipe card to access bike lockers on the South Side and North Shore, visit Friends of the Riverfront, 33 Terminal Way (just off East Carson Street in
the South Side), Monday to Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Call (412) 488–0212.
