When my daughter was 3, we went on an overnight trip to New York City. Two years later, she still talks about seeing "Click Clack Moo" at Theatreworks. We went to a free summer performance, and it is definitely a show I would pay to see again. Theatreworks currently has a Family Series with $25 tickets, and the free shows return in the summer. Their shows are made for even the youngest audience to enjoy, but at the same time there is enough adult humor to keep Mom and Dad from napping. I would much rather spend $100 for my family of four to see another one of their shows than over $400 to see a show on Broadway. There are plenty of pre-or-post-show places nearby to grab a slice of pizza. The only negative was the location, which is in a neighborhood with several questionable window displays that older children may notice.
