"Nice zoo, kind of dated"

This is a pretty nice zoo. My son (almost 3) enjoyed seeing the monkeys climbing around on the island in the lake, and especially the (very calm) boat ride. They also have camel rides there seasonally and he loved to watch them (but didn't want to have a ride). The lemonade, while expensive (like all in-zoo food) was excellent and is mixed when you order, so you can order low-sugar or whatever. The sandwich I had was also very good. They do have some healthy options as well as the usual junk food, and expensive but not extremely exorbitant prices.

They had just opened the new giraffe exhibit.

The paths are paved but to go up to the fence to see the animals the closest, you have to walk on broken shell gravel, so closed toe shoes are recommended if your kid is bothered by stuff in his shoes.

There are numerous places to buy fish food and throw it in the lake - the fish are huge and splash dramatically and the kids really love that.

Overall, the enclosures seem a little old - modern zoos I think try harder to make the enclosures seem more "natural" and spacious. It was a good outing for my (almost) 3 year old and his admission was free since they don't charge until age 3.

"not so many animals..."

I had an annual membership for this zoo when my son was a year old. It's not a large place, and does not have that many animals, but great for walking around with the stroller. The alligator feeding show is fun to watch, and the kids play areas are perfect for toddlers. I do not know why they call it a zoo, it is more like a park with a few animals, but overall, not bad to visit with small kids.

"Fun Zoo For The Family!"

We once held memberships for this zoo. It has plenty of fun exhibits full of learning. Unlike some zoos, the animals are easily to be seen. The live feeding at the alligators is pretty amazing. We love the boat ride that takes you to see the monkey islands!

"An enjoyable visit"

The Zoo at Caribbean Gardens was enjoyable but not all up to what we expected. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. It wasn't incredibly crowded and the scenery, particularly the landscape, was very pretty. The only drawback was that the zoo was quite small and it didn't take very long to see all of the exhibits. This zoo is nice for a short visit but definitely not for a day trip.

"Fun, uncrowded zoo"

This zoo is not only really pretty, but uncrowded as well. My kids were about 7 and 10 when I last took them and they loved it. They are now 10 and 13 and I will probably be taking them back  one of these weekends. There's a cool boat ride that takes you around the monkey islands, which is fun to watch. The place has so many beautiful trees and makes for great pictures. The only thing I didn't like was that I remember the eating area being a bit small and not having a great deal of food selection. Besides that, and the blazing sun, which is not the zoo's fault, LOL, the kids had an amazing time. My husband I enjoyed ourselves as well. Also, here's a TIP: look for coupons or go on "buy one ticket, get another one free" days. The zoo usually runs a promotion like this, so if you go to their site, you are bound to find a good deal.

"Naples zoo"

We took our children to the Naples zoo. It is easily seen in two hours. The shows are good but not great as some of the seating makes it hard for the kids to see.
You can get close to some of the animals like lions and tigers while walking. The boat ride to see the monkeys is a fun way to see the monkeys but it's hard for little children to see.

"Zootastic!"

Enjoyed the Zoo at Caribbean Gardens.  It's just the right size not to be too overwhelming.  We stopped to watch the alligator feeding.  Everyone liked the Primate Cruise, a boat ride featuring several islands with different types of monkeys.  Many types of demos and meet the keeper opportunities throughout the day.

"Fun with the Family"

A boat tour, animal shows, and tropical gardens add to the allure of this small zoo. Favorite spots for the kids include Young Explorers Playground Forest. “Meet the Keeper” and multimedia animal shows (video and live) feature Bengal tigers, lions, alligators, dingoes, monitor lizards, and leaping lemurs.
