mini golf, batting cages, go carts, and more
We walked in with balloons and presents to celebrate a sixth birthday. We had no food or drink with us...not even a birthday cake. Our intention was to buy pizzas for the kids (Ages: 4,4,6) and for six adults, let the kids play video games, and open about six presents. We hadn't even set down when a woman approached us and with a terrible attitude said that we couldn't bring any food or drink in. We told her we didn't have any with us. She then went back to the kitchen and proceeded to point at our table. There was no "Welcome" or anything even remotely positive about the verbal exchange. It was so uncomfortable that we let the kids play about three games and left. I went up to the woman and told her that if she speaks to all of her customers like she spoke to us, they will probably leave too. The owner (he made sure to tell me it was HIS business) jumped in and said that we "disrespected" them by not calling and making reservations. RESERVATIONS for a arcade! There was only two other people in the whole room so crowding sure wasn't a factor. He followed us out the door hollering "Have a nice day, God bless you". This was NOT done in a friendly manner and sounded more like a cowards way of cussing. We will NEVER go back even though we are locals. There is another mini golf and arcade place in Mtn. Home where we will now spend our time and money.
