The World of Coca-Cola features more than 1,200 artifacts from around the world. You will see interactive exhibits such as a 4-D movie and a gallery dedicated to Coke and pop culture. You will also sample over 60 different beverages from around the globe.
The World of Coca-Cola is open 7 days a week. Tours last 90 minutes. Strollers accepted.
4d movie horrible - you get poke/punched in the back by a rod that is supposed to be a dragonfly sting.
Vault is pure hype but while you're on your way in they have some great computer effects to play with.
Tasting room fun - no seats but you walk up to a soda machine (one 'island' for each continent) and try as much as you want of any of the soda's. The Beverly from Italy is the most popular because people can't resist trying something that is evoking so many groans and terrible faces - it tastes like a non-alcoholic aperitif. This room is really great - just wish you could sit down!
Giant never ending coke commercial - from the moment you step in the place. Even my kids were not impressed.
The world of coca cola is very very awesome place. Its a very interesting place to visit. It is very thrilling to view the coke preparation. It also has many more attractions as 4d theatre. It is not very understandeable for small children. Its a very gigantic museum like place, very attractive to see.It depicts the history from ages and many places. The most exciting part is tasting the samples of many varities. Most of all do not forget to grab your free bottle of coke at the last.
I visited the World of Coca-Cola last year with a school group. We were on a bit of a time crunch, so I didn't feel like I was able to really take time to examine every exhibit as I would have liked, but I did enjoy what I saw. There are a lot of exhibits that show the history of Coca-Cola. There are lots of memorabilia/ antiques on display. I found the bottling producting exhibit to be quite interesting. At the end of the tour you can even take a bottle of Coke home with you as a souvenir. There is a taste sampling area at the end of hte tour as well. I think there are like 68 different Coke products available from around the world. Some were delicious and some were nasty, but it was cool to see and taste.
If you are a Coke fan, this is the place for you. Lots of exhibits and a 4D theater included in ticket price. The best part is the tasting room at the end of the tour. Sample coke products from around the world. Parking on site, but there is a charge.
This place is so much fun from the time you walk in to the time you leave. You walk in and start your tour with a movie on how coke travels through the machines, it is SUPER cute!!! You then are on your own and can explore the different areas. There is the musuem part that will walk you through all the Coke products from the past. The art museum is amazing, I would love to have some of that art work in my house. The 4-D movie is fun. Then there is the taste shop....what an amazing experience. some are good and well, some I don't see how people like them. You finish off the World of Coke with a free Coke bottle and then you can browse the enormous gift shop. It is a great place to go. We love it.
The coca cola factory is a fun place to go more for older kids who understand whats going on young kids will not want to sit through it. You get to how it is made and taste how the different ones are made in different countries. I must admit for the most part the U.S. tasted the best and at the end you get a glass bottle as a souvenoir if you are like me it the bottle will be empty by the time you make it home but still a nice souvenoir
I love Coca Cola and it was a fun experience to see the factory itself. They did a really good job at creating many exhibits that covered production, history and design. I particularly enjoyed the vast collection of memorabilia, including the Olympic torches for various olympics! Of course, the end of the tour was the greatest because you are able to go into their tasting room and see the hundreds of different flavors of coke products around the world. There is no limit to the amount of tastings you can have, and it is broken down into the different areas of the world where those flavors are produced. At the end, you are able to reach in and grab your own glass bottle of Coke right off the conveyer belt, which I think is a pretty great souvenir!
This museum is very interesting for adults and older kids, but left our small toddlers and pre-school age kids quite bored most of the time.
I would recommend waiting on this one until the little ones are old enough to read and interact with exhibits on their own.
Active duty military are free to this museum. We had a great time but had a toddler with us who wasn't too interested until we went to where you actually drink the soda which is the highlight. They show you a movie which isn't that great and then you are free to walk around and view all the memorabilia and then you can go try sodas from all over the world. Everyone walks out with their own bottle of Cocal Cola. Everyone also has to leave through the gift shop so be prepared for having to walk through that at the end.
This place is so much fun! Have a great time trying every soda ever made & known to mankind. Its an expensive place to go, but definitely an Atlanta thing to do. Can't be in Atlanta & NOT go there! Its a really fun experience. They have a cafeteria there too, if you didn't bring lunch.
A fun place to visit at least once. Fee is a bit expensive. It was fun to taste all the different cokes from all over the world. Some are good and some not so good. Amazing to see all the memorabilia in the gift shop. The 4-D movie is ok and it was interesting to learn about the history of coke.
A tad pricey but the best part was getting to taste 25 different brands of coke from all over the world. Short tour. Crowded. But perhaps go on a weekday in the winter and it won't be so bad? Might be boring for very little ones. Bring a stroller. Very nice gift shop.
The World of Coke is something to visit atleast once, just to see all the neat memorabilia that Coke has. I used to really be into drinking soda, so at the time it was great to try all the different varieties, but now that I really don't drink soda, I don't think I would be that into it. It is definitely a must do one time, even if you don't drink all the free samples.
I love the world of Coca-Cola! The price to get in is very reasonable and there is so much to do! There are videos, tours, and all kinds of things to look at and learn about. Also at the end you get to taste coke products from around the world and get to take a bottle of Coke home with you. Love this attraction!
We had a good time visiting the Coca Cola museum. It was definitely interesting to see all the coke decor. I liked the fact that you were able to try different varieties of coke. It was neat to see the origin of Coke. I don't know how often I'd go back.
My family truly enjoys the World of Coke. Being from Georgia it is great to learn about the history of the brand, but I have to say, my girls favorite part is tasting the colas from all over the world. There are tons of variety to try and you can mix and match, and to our kids, that makes up for having to watch videos and learn about the early days of Coca Cola! Really a must see if you are in Atlanta!
If you're ever in Atlanta you have to visit The World Of Coca-Cola. There are tons of memorabilla and a chance to taste Coca-Cola products from around the world. My daughter was tickled to see they had one from Italy that had the same name as her (Beverly). You also get a souvenier glass bottled Coke as you leave.
We have 3 small boys, and braved going here. It met all of our expectations, plus some! It was fantastic the way they do not hold you long when giving the required tours, and also had a movie. Of course, the Coca-Cola Bear is a huge hit! We have a picture with him sitting on our mantel! And, educational also, as it gives a tour of the past and a present bottle filling station!
And, last, but definitely not least, all of the different flavors of Coke products from around the world!
Fun for child and adult alike!
My family went to The World of Coca-Cola this summer and we had such a blast! It was great for my husband and I because there was so much to look at and taste. YUM! Our 15 month old enjoyed it too-especially meeting the Coca-Cola bear! I would recommend making it a weekday visit as we went during the week and it was not busy at all! We didn't have to wait for anything!
We went to the World of Coke last year with a 3 year old and a 6 year old. Our younger one was bored really fast, but our 6 year old and the adults all loved it! It was neat trying all the different sodas from around the world but we surely had sugared up kids afterward. I plan to go back but will wait until the younger one is a bit older so he can enjoy it more.
