"Broadway at its Best"

I went to see the Miracle Worker on Broadway a few nights before it was set to close. I know several of the actors in it, and so did my children but they all completely blew me away. The story was heartbreaking, yet heartwarming at the same time. I can't even begin to explain the joy it brought me by the end of the show. This is a great show to see with your family because it really makes you thank God for your children and that they are healthy. The theater itself was tiny but we had the 2nd row. afterwards, we met the cast and they were extremely friendly, especially Matthew Modine and Jennifer Morrison.

"Phenomenal"

This show was wonderful.  The theater is small and intimate, the scenery is very minimal and the focus is on the performances, which were amazing.

I took my 9 year old son and he enjoyed the show very much.  Prior to the show I printed out the educational guide available on the website, the first page lays out a synopsis of the show so you can help your child understand what to expect.  I found this helpful to review with him.

Is this show going to be for all kids?  Probably not.  The show runs approx. 2 hours and because of the size of the theater a squirmy kid will be quite noticeable.  So, you will need to know if your child can sit for the whole performance.  The theater does not allow children under the age of 5 and once the performance starts they close the doors and do not allow you back in.
