The Los Angeles Times is the nation’s biggest metro daily newspaper. Kids love to see the newsroom and printing facility, with its mesmerizing, rapid-fire machinery that churns out more than a million newspapers each day. Two free tours (Monday through Friday at 11:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M.) are offered by advance reservation only.
The first option is the “editorial” tour of the newsroom, and the second is of the printing plant on Olympic. Tour hours vary. Tour participants must be at least ten
years old.
