The Lorenzo House was built by John Lincklaen, a wealthy land developer and financier, in 1807. The state historic site has been perfectly preserved, and now features a wealth of winter activities. It's also a wonderful location for weddings or other events.
During the winter, the Lorenzo House hosts beezwax candle making sessions and a Chirstmas festival with refreshments and live music. During February, the house hosts a Winter Extravaganza with snowshoing, skiings, a snowman contest and tours of the grounds and refreshments.
Located on beautiful Lake Cazenovia, this home is a wonderful window into life in this region over 200 years-ago.
