The Little Farmer is a great orchard for families. They have a contained playground, (they do ask for a donation of .50 per child). The playground has a haybale tunnel, lots of big wheel tricyles, swings, slides, little obstacle course and other various activities. The orchard also has a little petting zoo. I would highly recommend visiting on a weekday as it is not nearly as crowded then. The hayride doesn't take place during the week, but there are numerous other activities to do. We really enjoyed this place and look forward to coming back next year!
They are open peak season August through the end of November and it is a must see! Fun for everyone including a huge hay play area for adults all the way down to babies! Also inside the barn upstairs is a craft building for parents to enjoy, and a huge Apple House that allows you to get a Carmel apple with tons of different toppings at an affordable price! Acrossed the way is a huge store featuring all types of goodies including apples, fresh bakery and the best pies and muffins! There is also hay rides, animals, apple picking and pumpkin patches! A great place for fall!
