Ziplining is the newest adventure travel craze—better than a roller-coaster or even a trapeze! The zipline is designed, built, and operated according to the highest safety standards as set by the Association for Challenge Course Technology. The setting is magnificent: A quarter-mile foot trail through the jungle leads to a steep valley at the confluence of two streams, with a 150-foot waterfall tumbling over fern-covered boulders on one side and a huge stream on the other. Once you're “zipped” and “launched,” you sail 50 feet above ground and over rivers, waterfalls, and treetops all at a speed of 35 mph.
