This is a very very interesting place to go and visit with your kids. The place will get you back into the history. Not only Jonah's time but also the times of Jesus and you'll learn the things of christianity and the Bible. our 4 y.o. son had a great story time at the special place made for kids.
Then you will see the beautiful musical presentation with lots of music, costumes and tradition. And the last and the best is the scene of Jesus Christ's, His death on the cross. You must see this place.
Let me just start off by saying that it was not my choice to come here: I was on a family vacation and one of my relatives INSISTED on going. For the record, I will not be going on vacation with them anytime soon, nor will I ever visit those horrid park again anytime soon. This park was beyond boring, for both adults and kids and very very dirty as well. I'm a devout Catholic as well, so I am horrified to have to say this; but I just needed to warn people because I was aghast once I got here. The hype is a lie!
We really didn't enjoy this park much with the kids. Absolutely avoid the Jesus show with the kids. You're better off reading to them from a Children's Bible with pictures. It was more interesting for the adults and the park was featured in the documentary Religulous which peaked our interst in visiting, but it's not the best place for the kids. Next time, we'll stick with the traditional theme park experience of Disneyworld. Much more fun for the whole family.
We were in Florida during Easter week and visited the Holy Land Experience. It was a replica of Jerusalem. It was educational but fun and somber at the same time. We watched an actor playing Jesus carry his cross to Golgatha. We took part in a Sedar meal. There were even camels, goats and sheep.
