"Best for younger kids"

If your children haven't hit their teens, then you will enjoy this museum.  The displays are almost all interactive and everything is driven towards a ten year old audience.  Older kids may find it to be a bit childish.  Its location also makes for easy walking distance to other museums in the district.

"Great place for the kids to learn in a fun way!"

We visited The Health Museum last summer with our kiddos.  They had a blast!  The Museum has some very cool features -- like walking through these huge plastic human body parts!  The information is presented in a fun way.  Never a dull moment at this Museum!

"Nice Afternoon Trip"

Great counterpart to the Chidlren’s Museum next door. The exhibits are child friendly, colorful and invite a discussion of heath, body and taking care of both with your child.  The ever-changing visiting  exhibits are always fun- like the stuffed animal hospital, complete with ER room worthy set up. This museum is much quieter than the Children’s Museum which is also nice if going with younger kids and strollers.

"Houston Health Museum"

Was rather disappointed during my trip there. They had an exhibit on humans in space travel but the theme seemed to go a bit off with more info on space itself than the human health thing. And the space info was too much and not presented in interesting way. The human body exhibit was better - some cute (giant walk-in mouth) and cool high tech bits (superimposed scan on you). A lot of psychological health which is difficult for kids to understand but the exhibit is too kiddish for big kids. All in, I think I wouldn't go back.

"museum fun"

we had a good time here. there were a lot of hands on activiities for all ages to do . one of our favorites was the climbing wall that resembled the skin layers!! very entertaining. there were some fun running, exploring places that were great. another funactivity was the machine that would envision what you would look like when you smoke or in the sun  or gain a lot of weight in the next 10 or 20 yrs!!! Very funny!! Fun place
