The Garden Maze

"Fun!"

The Garden Maze is conveniently located right outside of Luray Caverns in the same parking lot.  For an extra few dollars per person you can have some extra fun.

We were a little skeptical thinking it would be a little cheesy.  However, we were pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had.  We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us a Goal Sheet.  We had to find 4 secret boxes to reveal a secret message.  

The maze is larger than it seems from the outside and there are a lot of twists, turns, and deadends created by tall hedges.  However, if you get completely turned around there are some hint boxes located throughout to help you get back on course.  

In the center is a large fountain and towards the back there is a raised platform that allows you to look out over most of the maze.  This is helpful if you you get separated from your group.

Not that we turned this into a comptetion or anything, we were there to have fun...but us girls totally rocked it and found all 4 goal boxes and the exit before the boys.  :)
