"Love Papa"

You can't go to The Country Village without visit Papa's Place.  You have got to try the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.  They are moist and tender and oh so good.  And they're big too.  Pretty much a meal.  I suggest sharing it or cutting it in half to eat over a couple of days.  You can't visit the Country Village without stopping to check out the ducks and chickens.  My kids love it!  And there is a education/learning store there that I enjoyed looking through.  Lots of antique stores too.  A few people (employees of the shops) have been rude, but all in all, a good experience and Papa's Place is worth the visit.

"fun place for kids and mom to visit"

We go to the Country Village every now and then.  It's mainly out door activities so it is a good alternative place to visit in summer time.  Not so much when it's cold and rainy.  At the Country Village, you can feed birds and ducks.  There is a play park in the back.  It's rather small but sufficient for kids to run.  Also they have kids-friendly care, they have train tables and other toys.(It gives parents a break.)  Note that they don't allow outside food in the cafe.

"Skip the train and playground"

I think that the train and playground here are not that great. Tthe train is way to expensive for what it is. My kids love love love to feed the ducks, chase the roosters, and check out the toy store, which is fantastic. On fridays they have a cute little market. If you are in the area I would check it out, but I don't know if it's worth a long drive as a destination.

"Antiques"

If you love antiques and vintage things as much as I do you much check this place out.  It has everything.

Great food with many resturants.  If you need a gift for the hard to buy person or just for yourself you'll find everything here.  And during the holidays its a fun place to come and just walk with your friends enjoying the atmosphere.

This is a kid friendly place or a place to spend with your partner or girlfriends for the afternoon.  You'll love everything you find!

Convient parking, bring your umbrella incase it starts to rain because you won't be ready to go home yet.  :)

"Always a hit!"

We love this place! It has it all. There are cute little shops where you can support local vendors. There is a kid friendly coffee shop with toys great for about ages 1-4, I think. There is a carousel that you have to push yourself, but the kids love it. My daughter always likes feeding the ducks at the pond.

Whether you are looking for something to do inside or outside, this place has both options, doesn't have to cost you anything, and always has festive and seasonal activities!

"Country Village with young kids"

My kids just adore this place!  The shops are mostly for adults (I LOVE the Christmas and Halloween decorations I find at The Weed Patch, but this is not a little kid-friendly store.  Too many breakables!)  But there are SO many fun things for kids!

The highlights:
Duck pond with tons of ducks and chickens to feed
Cute little train that goes around the village.  My 3 year-old loves it!
Play area with a big field, swings, and a big sandbox
The Village Bean kid-friendly coffee shop, with a train table and a bunch of toys for the kids

Tip: Go on Fridays during the summer for the awesome Farmer's market!

"Quaint shopping experience"

This may perhaps be more of an adult activity, but this small collection of shops does have some areas of interest for kids too. They have one fun store that has a wide range of children's toys and activities.

We have enjoyed browsing through the stores and there are various seasonal events if you come at certain times of the year.

I am not sure if it is still running, but they did have a little train for the kids to ride on...just another benefit to interest the little ones!

"Lots of cute stores and great family activities!"

We recently discovered the Country Village and absolutely love it! It's even worth the 30 minute drive that it takes us to get there from downtown Seattle!
Country Village is made up of a bunch of buildings that house stores, restaurants and cafes. Those are all great, but what surrounds the shops and eateries is what makes Country Village great. There's a large pond with ducks to feed, chickens running around, beautiful trees and flowers, a large playground and even a train that you can ride on for a short tour of the grounds.
There's lots of parking and plenty to do and see here- it's worth the trip!
