This is an awesome place to go! It is very kid friendly place to visit! The price isn't bad either! It is something that you will want to do if you are visiting Pigeon Forge! They have some awesome acts to watch! We try to go everytime we visit Pigeon Forge! They have different shows for all kinds of audiences! We love the kids show!!
First off, I want to tell you that they do not serve dinner at this show, but it is still a lot of fun! They have a gift shop (think something like Cracker Barrel) where they stuff animals sell drinks and food (snack food mostly). There is a lot of singing which my son loves. There was a stand up comedian which was funny. We enjoyed the magician. There was a man who juggled all kinds of things (not just balls), and that was very entertaining!. The show is set up like a theater with stadium seating. They allowed the children to go up front as well and played games with them as well. We all enjoyed the show, and I would recommend it if you have kids.
I went there a few years ago and really enjoyed it . The cast was very unique and very funny. My husband was even called up on stage and got really embarrassed but we were all laughing about it later.you also have the option of buying a taping of your show which we have watched many time. They do not have a restaurant so it is not a dinner and show just a dinner.
The Comedy Barn is a down-home, kid-friendly, country good time. I was concerned about taking my daughter to a comedy show, even one that claimed to be family friendly. We had a great time despite my worries. The show has varied a little bit each time I've seen it, but every time has been very entertaining and fun. It is basically a variety show including acts like ventriliquists, short comic skits, dogs that do tricks, a bluegrass-type band, singers, cloggers, audience participation skits... I enjoyed some acts more than others, but none were inappropriate or vulgar in any way. They do a good job of keeping the show flowing and engaging the audience as much as possible. Most importantly, my daughter loved the show.
A group from my church went to the Comedy Barn a couple of years ago as a couples outing. We had SO much fun! If you like slapstick comedy, then you will enjoy the Comedy Barn. The humor was clean and appropriate for a family. Luckily someone from our group was picked to go up on the stage, which just added to our evening of fun.
this was such a fun show to attend!!! it is an all ages show and they really do mean all ages. It is good clean wholesome comedy. It is basically a variety show with lots of talent. i laughed harder at this show than any other comedy show I have ever been to. It was truely a fun experience!
If you have a family and the thought of taking your kids to see a comedy show scares you, you can relax at the comedy barn. I have been there at least 6 times and each one was fun. The cast has changed little in the past years yet it still remains a fresh show. We missed the ventriloquist with the sock and the old couple he and his wife had but there was another guy and he did a good job. The juggler was new and he was pretty funny as was the magician. Eric the guy who hits people on the head is always funny but seems he always has the same lines for different people. We always have loads of fun here!
