We tood our 2 younger boys here one night for dinner. They enjoyed the food, the views and the children-welcome atmosphere. The portions were large, the quality was good, and the kids' meals were served on a souvenir frisbee to play with on the beach later. We sat next to the open screen (thus, "back porch") and watched the waves roll onto the beach. Our waiter really made the kids feel at home. Oh, and while we were sitting around waiting for our food, we looked up into the open rafters and saw all kinds of little toys and dolls peeking out! It was fun, entertained the kids, and didn't cost us anything extra.
A few issues: #1, it was really tough to find. We overshot it by about 4 miles before turning around and seeing the big billboard that told us where to turn. The numbering system on Hwy. 98 is kinda screwy. I would recommend calling first to get directions, or maybe a GPS could handle it. #2 We went in January, when I'm sure it's much slower at all restaurants in the area. We didn't have to wait for a table but I'm sure we would have if we had gone during peak vacation times.
