The Apple Works

"Wonderful Place to Spend a Fall Day"

The Apple Works is our favorite apple orchard and pumpkin patch.  Go on the weekend when, most likely, (website shows dates) a small train is running along with hayrides to the pumpkin patch.  Weekends are busy though, so go early if you want to avoid the crowd. There is also a petting zoo (with goats even walking on platforms above head), an absolutely beautiful nature walk, hay bales, a giant slide, and more for the kids.  We also love their store and never leave without their apple cake.  There are also several festivals to enjoy here each year.
