The Weller Center has become an outreach only program where schools and educators can bring classes to make health education fun and interactive.
The Weller Center started off as an interactive museum in the United States to focus on health education. Kids can walk through a giant model of the human brain. There’s also a giant nose that actually sneezes. (“Oooh, gross!” they’ll say, but they’ll love it.) Other exhibits focus on nutrition, human growth and development, and drug abuse.
Located adjacent to the Crayola Factory and the National Canal Museum, the Weller Center also has a very nice gift shop. The Web site offers lots of health information for kids and a section “For Teens Only.”
