"Very fun but pricey"

We love going to the Tahnksgiving point Museums and gardens, but I do feel like it can be a bit spendy.  The petting zoo  and dino museum are my kids favorites, but they also enjoy the children's garden with the splash pad.  I love the shops and honestly they have GREAT food at their restaurants.  I love that they have a movie theater as well, if we decide to go for that option instead. There are a million things to do here!  It is a great place for a family outing!

"Lots of activities"

There is always something for the kids at Thanksgiving Point. Our favorites include Farm Country and Museum of Ancient Life. Farm Country is a very nice, very large petting zoo that is fun during warmer months. The Museum, a.k.a. The Dinosaur Museum in our home, is fun for the kids and adults. There are some very cool exhibits and the kids love the interaction with the kid-friendly stuff they have.

"Many things to do! Choose one or more!"

We have seen movies here and love to walk around afterward. We walked by the Animal Barn and saw all the farm animals (we've gone there before) and there was a stage barn of sorts as well. The gift shop is a lot of fun to walk through (hold little one's hands!) and they all got a sucker!  I know there are gardens in the summer and lights in the winter. We do LOVE the Dinosaur Museum the BEST!!!

"Thanksgiving Point - October Celebrations"

While Thanksgiving Point offers many activities year round, one of my favorite times to visit is in October.  With Halloween festivities in full swing around the state, Thanksgiving Point offers a variety of family friendly spooks that I love!  For the young child, they offer many non scary, but still festive activities.  The older child / teenager may enjoy the haunted maze.  It's a fun festive activity for the whole family!

"...for the fall festivites"

My wife and I were up here around Halloween for the corn maze. They put on a great event here with various mazes to choose from  (easy, hard, scary) and have lots of other events too. Great for dates, great for families. Lots of people love going to these things.

"Lots of options to please everyone"

Thanksgiving Point has lots of different activities so everyone can find something they enjoy.  My 3 year old and 1 1/2 year old love the farm animals and the splash pad with the big ark.  The gardens are beautiful...you forget that you're in the Utah desert!  You can drive right by on the freeway, but you'd never know what's there until you actually go in and see it.  And it's worth it!

"Fun Place!"

There is so much to do at Thanksgiving Point! We're split on favorites- half of us like the Dinosaur Museum the most, the other half like Farm Country. The Gardens are also spectacular, so really, I say it depends what time of year it is! Also, stop by the Emporium store while you're there. It's pricey, but so fun to window shop in there! The restaurant is amazing, but we also like the little cafe and it's cheaper.

"Go see the Christmas lights!"

We have been here for the Christmas lights.  Go on a weeknight, preferably not close to Christmas.  it's great that you get to stay in your car and just drive through.  Look for discount coupons in your mail or the newspaper.  But be sure to get out when you are done and see the real reindeer and the ice sculptures!

"A great gem of Utah!"

We love to go to Thanksgiving point in August when admission prices are $2 per area/person. They have stunning gardens and play ares for kids, grassy fields and walking trails, a beautiful man-made waterfall, museums, great food and shops, plus events take place there all there time! We love the Museum of Ancient Life. My kids call it "The Dinosaur Museum".

"Plenty of Room"

Take advantage of the $2 Tuesdays in August. We love to visit the gardens - which is a real treat during the tulip festival. We pack a lunch and let the kids run all over. There are acres of grass, trees & flowers. Big hills to roll down. They love it!

"Expensive"

Although there are many attractions that are great for all age groups it is so expensive that it is almost not worth it. I recomend the Two dollar Tuesdays that they do (or did, not sure if they will bring it back but I hope they do) If you have a large family this would be a big budget breaker. Also in a weird location, not close to anything else and hard to find off of the freeway due to constrution in the area.

"Great stop for families"

Thanksgiving Point has something for everyone in the family.  All times of year have something to offer.  When we lived in teh area we frequently visited and never got bored of the beautiful scenery and entertianment options. The Museum is especially good and so are the gardens and corn mazes in the fall.  This is a great stop for any family!

"Cornbelly's corn maze during October"

Thanksgiving point offers many attractions but we absolutely love to go every October to the Cornbelly's maze.

Every year is set up differently and is wonderful for the whole family.
There is a small maze and a haunted maze, you can also find hay mazes for the little ones.
This year we enjoy the piggy races and the bouncers.

There is a couple of concession stands but nothing major, just a few snacks and drinks.

"Fun"

They always have such fun seasonal activities. Fun place to get outside with your kids. You can spend the whole day here easily with their shops, movie theatre, gardens, dinosaur museum, restaurants, and various activities. Especially fun in the fall for their Halloween activities. Good family fun!

"Thanksgiving Point"

This is a very family-oriented place to visit.  There is a barn located behind the parking lots.  This is my childrens' favorite place to visit at Thanksgiving Point.  They have all sorts of animals that belong on a farm that kids can interact with including ponies and horses, cows, goats, sheep, rabbits, and many more.  For an additional small fee, kids can go on a pony ride or a horse-pulled wagon ride (this is for adults as well).  They keep the barn and outside area very clean and sanitary and even have hand sanitizer for the kids to use after touching the animals.  It is immaculate!  During holidays, such as Halloween, there are additional activities for the kids to participate in.

"go to Cornbelly's in the fall!"

We attended Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point this Halloween season--and had so much fun!  We stayed all afternoon and evening with our 5 year old and 8 month old.  There were so many activities included in the day pass--hay rides, watching pigs race (our fave!), trampolines, storytelling by campfire at night, corn maze, bounce houses and tons more.  We are all set to go back next year!
