This was the best weekend..my son still talks about his train at chattatooga he is almost 4 so that's how it sounds...The train ride was fantastic. However, the package we purchased from the chattanooga choo choo hotel made it all more of an experience. Santas workshop room staffed with , pictures with Santa in the lobby and elf tuck in service. Depending on the package you can go to the aquarium and rock city lights at night and you can sleep in a real train care..
The Tennessee Valley Railroad Musuem isn't just a great musuem! They offer train rides of all different types. If you want to be gone an entire day or just an hour, they have something for evderyone. In the summer, Thomas the Train comes to the Museum and you can take a short ride on him! They have story tellers, a petting zoo, train tables, tattoo's and so much more. In the fall they have a haunted train ride and in the winter you can go to the North Pole on the Santa Xpress! It's a really great place for kids young and old alike! My little guy loves riding the trains!
I took my 3 year old here last year. It was very neat but probably more for adults than children. After we visited the museum, we also rode on the train as part of their Christmas activities. We rode it to the "North Pole' and back and this ride was fun for everyone. My son ended up with a neat little train whistle that he still enjoys to this day!
