There are the standard stores like most outlets, we hit up Gap and Children's Place and Gymboree. There are also several specialty stores as well. The only reason I took off a star is because it is open to the elements when you are walking between stores, you aren't really outside because there is a roof but it's not insulated, so it's COOOOOLD in the winter. It's not terrible, but carrying my kids around and having to put on coats between stores was kind of a pain. I'm sure they save lots of money on heating costs though! Make sure to ask for a coupon book for good deals.
we go to the Dells quite often and I try to get over to this outlet as often as I can. They have a great variety of store including a coach outlet store, Hollister, abercrombie, nine west, disney, gap, nike, Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, adidas, and so much more! It is an outdoor outlet for the main walking area, but the stores are all inclosed. Be sure to wear your warm coat and gloves in the winter. The roof is mostly covered so snow and rain do not bother you. Just be temperature prepared!
In November of 2010 my family visited the Tanger outlet mall in the Wisconsin Dells with my best friends family. We visited on a colder WI day and did not realize that the mall was an outside mall. The Mall itself was real nice with an all wooden structure. It is covered overhead to protect you from rain or snow with all the shops in the middle just like a normal mall. The stores that the mall offered were very nice stores such as Old Navy, sketchers, Nike, Adidas, Disney store, Gap, and many more. I would recommend visiting the mall on a warmer day especially with children. When we were they the kids did get quite cold and moody from being in the cold temps. All in all a very nice outside outlet mall.
I went shopping here with my girlfriend and our girls. The savings were alright better than just a regular mall. The weather was also a big factor though it is all outdoors none of it is closed off so if you do have children they freeze. My girlfriend and I were even freezing. It would be nice to actually have like the center closed off with heat or something. The children also got bored very quickly there was no game room or arcade that we could all go play in. The only place you could really get warm was the bathrooms ick! They were also very messy you had to clean the bathroom before you or your children could even use it, who want's to do that when you gotta go you gotta go! I would only come back here if I was on a buisness trip by myself this is not a place for children especially not in the winter months.
This outlet mall is a pretty good mall for kids. There are strollers to rent and plenty of restrooms located along the strip. There is an Old Navy outlet for cheap clothes and a Disney Store Outlet which is FANTASTIC! We stop at this outlet mall whenever we visit my parents just to visit the Disney Store. My 3 year old daughter loves it and calls it the Princess Store. Deals can be found throughout this mall and they have some unique outlets that I've never seen anywhere else, including Crocs.
It is a semi-outdoor mall. There is a space between the ceiling and the stores, so in the winter it can get quite cold and breezy. The stores are close together so it's not so bad.
