This lovely paved walking trail winds through downtown Tampa along the Hillsborough River.  Start at the southern end of the walk at the Florida Aquarium and stroll north to Straz Center.  

Festivals, art shows and the world famous Gasparilla Parade all utilize the outdoor Riverwalk for the benefit of all of Tampa Bay.

"Year 'round outdoor activities "

We've been to the Riverwalk in downtown Tampa for so many different family friendly events.  It's a wonderful place to walk along if you're pushing a stroller, following behind active kiddos or looking for something to do with your teens.  There are many attractions set along the Riverwalk which makes exploring downtown Tampa easy and accessible even for wheelchairs and strollers.  Check the website for upcoming activities and get out there!
