Sycamore Park District Easter Egg Hunt

"More of a Candy hunt than an Egg hung"

The Sycamore Park District offers many programs throughout the year to celebrate the different holidays.  We have not been to Cookies with Santa or the others, but did attend the Easter Egg Hunt located at the golf course clubhouse lawn.  This isn't so much an egg hunt, mostly just candy.  We went last year (2010) when it was raining, but that didn't deter any of the kids.  They seperate the kids into age groups, and if I recall, it goes up to 15 years old.  There is so much candy that there was some left on the preschool hill for the older kids to take!  At the end, each child is given a plastic egg that they take to a designated area and are given a prize.  Last year my 3 year old got chalk, crayons, a couple of whistles.  She was thrilled.  

This is a great easter 'egg' hunt for all ages.
