A u-pick strawberry farm with onions, potatoes and tomatoes too. In June they have a corn maze. In the Fall they have pumpkins, gourds and hayrides, face-painting, horse rides and scarecrow stuffing. Follow directions on the website and do not reply on GPS or online map directions.
I've always wanted an excuse to visit Sweet Berry Farm and now that my daughter is 2 it was the perfect age to go for a visit in the fall to see all that Sweet Berry has to offer! The pumpkin patch is amazing, there are a ton of great areas to snap pictures.
There's also big trampoline type things for kids to jump on, a barrel train, hayrides, petting zoo, etc. Entrance is free and you pay for each activity separately, so you can go for fairly cheap! Can't wait to go back for berry picking in the spring!
We're lucky that my parents live in Marble Falls. We always add in a side trip to Sweet Berry Farms when we're there. In the fall, their pumpkins can't be beat. They are some WONDERFUL photo ops all over the grounds....an old truck filled to the brim (under the hood, too) with pumpkins, an old horse trailer filled with pumpkins, lots of photo-cut-outs and many more. The hayride is great, too! We've done both corn field mazes. The larger of the two is definitely challenging...it will take a good two hours to complete. There's always a petting zoo and so much more. We can't get enough of it!! In the spring, Marble Falls has bluebonnets in full bloom...another great time to plan a trip to Sweetberry for their strawberries. We always pick two full boxes and share them with our friends.
This is a wonderful way to spend the day!!
This is great and fun place for a family trip. We went during strawberry picking season and had a great time. They have strawberry ice cream and some other special treats that were delicious! A fun little photo area with cut-out holes for the children to play in. It's a large farm with tables for sitting, hoses for washing hands and lots of space with roam around. We enjoyed it and don't forget to stop by Blue Bonnet Cafe for some Peanut Butter pie!
Sweet Berry Farms is about an hour away from Austin. It is a beautiful farm and has plenty of activities for families. In the spring they have strawberry and blackberry picking and you pay by the container. They also have tomatoes and potatoes when in season. They make homemade ice cream with the fruit available.
In the fall they have a pumkin patch. Really it's just a lot of pumpkins brought in but it's a really neat way to pick your Halloween pumpkin. For the fall they make pumpkin pie ice cream. YUM! They also have scarecrow making and other fall activities.
They have a hayfield maze, goats and horses to pet, and various other things all year round - plus pony rides on the weekend. This is a great place to spend an entire day - plenty of things to do and so pretty!
