I have to say this place was a little overwhelming at first because of the amount of children in the first room we went into. But once we made our way up to a more mellow room the fun was on!
Super Franks is like Chuck e Cheese. An arcade/playplace that serves food. There is a cafe where you order food and get a number and a server brings it to the room you are in. In each room there is plenty of seating for eating or lounging. The big easy chairs look like it's time to replace them, but there are a lot of them if you want to relax. They also have free wi-fi. Something I feel incourages parents to check out and not watch there children. That was a problem with some kids we encountered that liked to push and block my daughter and her cousins.
The rooms have plenty to do in each of them. The room with the slide seemed to be the favorite amoung most of the kids their and there for we stayed clear. Far too much chaos and pushing. But the fish room and the fire truck room where fun and fine. They also have a gym room with a zip line. That was something my kids really loved.
We ended the day at the arcade which was fun. They kids enjoyed winning tickets to exchange for penny prizes!
All in all the food was OK and the kids had fun! My husband and I laughed on the way home about how we both almost grabbed the kids and left because of the chaos in the begining, but where glad we stayed because the kids really had a good time.
We came during spring break so I am hoping that was the reason for the crowd. We will visit again the kids really did have a good time.
Took my 22 month old and 4.5 year old here and really enjoyed it. It's a great alternative to Chuck E. Cheese and The Jungle, with more things to do and a cleaner environment. There are themed rooms, like the Sarari Room and Fish Tank, which are both huge and in different parts of the building so that you can go from one to the other when it gets crowded. The rooms have ride-on toys for both toddlers and preschoolers, jumpy houses, jumpy slides, and a foam pit in the Fish Tank. Beware the foam pit, the little bits of blue foam stuck all over my daughters' socks and took forever to pick off (and still didn't get it all off!). The Fish Tank room is cool with its glow-in-the dark theme, but because it's dark in there, keep an eye on where your kids are! There's a large mini-gym with basketball, zip line and ride-ons, but we didn't go in because it looked more suitable for older children.
They have a pretty good menu with lots of variety. We ordered a small pizza for the four of us and it was surprisingly big. My daughter chose the chicken ranch, which tasted really good! Starbucks is a plus. The rooms have nice leather seats that you can relax in while sipping coffee and watching the kids play.
We booked a Princess Party for our daughter's birthday (turning 5). We peeked through the windows of the Princess room and the Cinderella gave a wave and smile to my daughter. It looked spacious and set up very nicely for a princess tea party. I will update my review after the party!

So my daughter had her Princess Party here this past weekend and it was great! The room is really large and roomy, they had one big table down the middle for all the kids, a long table along the wall for the food, drinks and cake, another long table on the side wall for the gifts, two round tables for the parents, two round tables for arts and crafts, a couple leather chairs, and one tall table with chairs in the corner. After checking in and going over the party details, we got two free Starbucks drinks included in the package. Very nice touch!
There is a big castle in the room, with a throne in the middle. Behind the castle is the dress-up area. They have a closet filled with princess dresses, and enough knight shirts and capes for the boys (we had 7 boys and 6 girls). The Princess and one helper greeted us and took our daughter to get dressed and have her hair done. As each guest came, the Princess would do their hair, and she did a fabulous job giving them different styles. Each princess also got to wear a tiara. They had foam swords and shields for the boys, and as you'd expect, there was much play fighting with those (some of the girls got into the play fighting too!).
After crafts and free play, the kids sat down for the tea party. You have a few options for food, and we chose 1/2 turkey/cheese and 1/2 berries/cream cheese sandwiches. They also served scones, fruit and pretzels, as well as juice boxes (pizza and soda were the other options). After the tea party was the fashion show. The Princess introduced each child and what they most wished for (she had gone around asking the kids during the tea party) and then everyone gathered for a group shot around the throne. The Princess then gathered everyone to the back for a story (my daughter chose The Little Mermaid). It was then cake time, and after cake time was freeze dance.
I was very happy with the room, food, organization, and atmosphere. My daughter had a blast, and all the kids seemed to enjoy it too. I was worried the boys would get bored quickly, but they actually may have had more fun than some of the girls! We did have two girls who were very shy, and one who wouldn't come out for the fashion show, so keep that in mind.
It is on the expensive side, but I think it was very much worth it for the amount of food offered (we took home lots of leftovers). Also worth it to not have to do any cleanup and just go home after those busy two hours!
Wow! This place has something for everyone! The little ones have a special room to roam around upstairs and enjoy. The gym is also open to the little ones to roam freely under supervision and fully visible to parents outside the glass windows. The older ones have glow-in-the dark mini golfing (my girls favorite!) and the Chuck E. Cheese style arcade. My younger daughters favorite is the princess room. They are begging me to throw a party there so they can have a Princess coronation ceremony. The Castle backdrop in the room is absolutely adorable! The cafe has lots of delicious and organic food at a reasonable price. There are several big screen t.v.'s around playing sports for many of the dads who bring their children there. The place also has wi-fi throughout for those that wish to access the internet while the little ones play.
We went to Super Franks over Christmas break and it was Super Busy! But even with all the people my kids still had "their space" to play. The cost was $7/child and 2 adults get in free! (great we had grandma and 2 uncles plus me, mom for free with my 2 kids) We started in the under the sea room ,My boys were amzed their shirts were glowing in the dark from the black light! We all enjoyed the foam pit, and the bouncer in that room plus all the little scooters, and toys. The village room is cute, I saw kids dress up in the fireman outfits, slide down slides, play with wooden train sets, etc. In the jungle room they have a blow up slide, and do crafts, plus some other toys to play on. They have a room with a Zip line! My 4 year old Boy LOVED it! and my 2 year old boys played on the "scooters" in that room but it was VERY crowded at the time.
There is a small arcade, and the worker was very helpful if we lost a token in the game... (I hate spending money in arcades!)
They have workers at each door to the room, WiFi, you can buy one kids drink and it is free refills all day, You can order their food and it is brought to you in anyroom, You are allowed to leave the facility and then come back. I saw employees disinfecting toys and picking up, they have hand sanitizer on the wall of each room. Chairs line each room for parents to hang out and do their thing. And all the employees where very helpful and nice especially for such a busy day :)
My kid and I have gone to this place several times and every single time I noticed that the staff is not very friendly and helpful.
The facilities do not seem to be well taken care of with the toys being dusty and overused.
The older kids run wild and knock the younger kids down.
Now, the only times I go there is when one of my daughter's little friends has a Birthday party at that place. Otherwise, we usually try to avoid it.
I went to Super Franks Fun Adventure recently with my 15 month old daughter. I had never been there before. We met up with a friend. We started in the new fish tank room. It has black lights all over so you get a glow in the dark, water play room. Then we went to the town village room. They have little house side by side and buses and cars for the little ones to play. They also have a air filled bouncer/jumper for the little ones to jump in. The last room we went to was the safari room. This room is huge and has a big inflatable slide for the kids to slide from. Overall I think this is a fun place to bring the kids. They also have a Cafe so you can order coffee, snacks and pizza, chicken tenders, quesadilla, etc...
This is not my favorite place to go with the kids, although they love it a lot. They like all the arcade games, blinking lights, etc. a la Chuck E. Cheese.
I always leave with a headache! Too much stimulation. Plus, every time we go there it seems like a lot of the games are broken and they seem to always be the ones my kids wanted to play - therefore whining ensues, etc.
If it's too hot and you need someplace indoors to go - I'd rather go to Parti Palooza in Livermore, Pump it Up in Pleasanton or Silliman Aquatic Center in Union City.
We live nearby, so Super Frank's is one of our "last resort" destinations when it's too hot to go outside and the kids need a treat. The kids really enjoy it -- the arcade games are different than the ones at Chuck E. Cheese, the glow in the dark mini-golf is just spooky enough, and the gymnastics are fun. It's definitely a better place for parents to hang out than the Cheese; decent coffee, but the food's pretty much on par.
Here are my complaints: It's pretty expensive because you have to pay for each activity separately, and the in-out security is too lax for a kids' place that is as open as Super Frank's. I wish they covered the doors better -- it's just too easy for a little one to escape through the big front doors that lead into the wide open lobby/lounge area.
Nevertheless, the kids love it, and the owners clearly thought about ways to make the parents have a good time, too, while their kids frolic. If you like Chuck E. Cheese, check out Super Frank's -- it's a better choice for that sort of activity.
Awesome place to meet up with other moms. This place claims to be "Created by Parents for Parents" and its true! The best way to describe the experience is that it is like Chuck E Cheese, but without the annoying music, lights, and mouse. Its a restaraunt and coffee shop that appeals to adults and an activity center for the kids. My toddler loves the "Taught Town" Program on weekday mornings ($7 for toddlers and free for parents and babies). The toddlers can play in the gym, tackle the obstacle course or ride the Plasma Cars around and around. The playroom has a play town with a fire station, movie theatre, and school house where the kids can play dress up. They also offer circle time and craft time. For the older kids, there's indoor mini golf and an arcade with kid- appropriate (non-violent) video games. For the parents they have Starbucks coffee, a great menu, and leather chairs with magazines.
