The kids just loved this place. Great terrain park, great tubing park, overall great place for skiing and snowboarding.... It seemed to me to be a little steep at the bottom of the hills. Kinda scary, but the older boys really enjoyed their time here.
Well this was our first time being to Summit at Snoqaumie, we usually end up going sledding in the national parks around the Verlot are by Granite Falls. So this was going to be interesting since we hadn't been to a commercial park with the kids. So we get there at 1pm, we look at the sign it says "SOLD OUT". I asked the lady at the counter if there were any sessions available, she said they were gone for the day. So buy your tubing tickets on-line at least two days before you, their website recommends 24 hours.
So with that we never went in tubing, but the breakdown is you pay for a two hour session. Adults are $20, ages 7-13 are $15, and 6 and under are $5. The parking lot is extremely busy so keep an eye on the little ones.Bring food! The cost of a hot dog is $9, so you can imagine the cost for a family of 4. If the cost is a deterrent then you may want to try one of the sno-parks near by.
We will be heading to Hyak sno-park which is one exit after the summit at snoquaimie. Do check the parks web site as there days that the parks may be closed due to grooming. This can be found at the URL listed below:

Park=16
Well have fun out there where ever you may decide to go, I'll let you all know about Hyak park soon.
Good place to introduce your little one to ski-ing. Our 8 and 5 year old had a great time in ski-school and after about 3 lessons each, were able to go down the beginner slopes without falling. Lessons are all day and include lunch.
There is also a tubing area for the even smaller ones who may enjoy the rush of sliding down in inner tubes on the lap of adults. Note however there is a less expensive tubing hill the next exit down at Hyak snow-park ( only a parking permit needed) but you'll have to bring your own tubes and sleds.
