"Stepping Stones Museum"

This childrens museum has been renovated and everything is new. In one room they have a cafe with a couple of selections of food. Their is a water room with balls to play with and don't worry about bringing a bathing suit because they provide smocks for the children. The hands on exhibits and educational programs inspire every child. Adults $14,Children $14 Children under 1 Free, Seniors (over 62) $10. Plan on staying a while!

"My child never wants to leave!"

We love this place! There is a variety of interactive displays that truly are versatile for children of all ages. My child especially loved the water room (smocks are provided) and there is even a specific play area just for toddlers where big kids can't play. There are so many different things to do that every time you go it feels like a brand-new experience. If you dislike crowds I'd advise you to avoid on the weekends!

"perfect"

We took our 3 year old here this summer because we had the pass to get into all museums in CT, so although it was over an hour drive for us we thought we would just go for it and see how it was. It was SO much fun. They have so  many interactive exhibits that really were amazing. THe kids got to see how things worked and could participate  in it.  The staff were friendly and we will def be taking the drive up again.

"Fun, Fun, Fun"

We will definitely be back.  Lots of great exhibits to see, play, learn and interact with (the water room); many photo ops.  Our active then 3 yo son really loved it and did not want to leave.  On the other end of the shared parking lot:  bonus, a Boundless Playground called Devon's Place!

"Good activities"

This museum is best visited in the summer.  They have fun acitivities inside and out.  There are areas for little ones with soft structures to climb on and crawl through.  There's a water works room where kids can launch and watch things float around the various cascading pools.  The bubble area located outside but in the center of the round building is great for kids to make and explore bubbles.  Good fun all around.
