"Educational and Fun!"

This has to be one of the best free activities on the Gulf Coast! You get a bus tour of the rocket testing stations, plus some information on the history of the site. Then, you get to walk through (at your own pace) the visitors center which has posters, videos and exhibits before entering the interactive display area. You actually get to walk into a simulation of the space station as well as simulate a shuttle landing! They have a little cafe with great food and a gift shop on site as well as a picnic area available if you want to bring your own food. Absolutely wonderful day for school age kids!!
