A playground park with soccer fields, covered picnic areas, climbing net, basketball courts, and one portable toilet.
My boys love this park because of the net climbing area they call "Spiderweb park". My 11 and 9 year old play "tag" on the net and my 3 and 5 year old climb all over or hang off the ropes. The rest of the playground is also fun with slides, stairs, swings and the typical things. One other unique aspect is a cement tunnel buried in the hill which kids love to climb through and over.
Tips:
* The "spiderweb" is directly in the sun and can be very hot on a hot day. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
* This park only has one porta-potty, so you may wish to take kids to the bathroom before coming to this park.
* DO NOT Park in the "no parking" section of Springdale Street. I've seen cops hand out tickets to cars parked for the park.. assuming it's ok to park there when going to the park.
