Spend a day in the library and you will always come out a little smarter. The Spokane Public Library is an event within itself. The grand building is about as close as I have got to a major library and thought I was in heaven. There are not areas of interest, but floors!!! Coming from a rural area, there were so many options and the kids loved being there for story time and the arts and craft activities. Make sure you check the calendar for the events as they change often. Make sure to check out the viewing window as you can sit and read a book while looking out over the Spokane River. It certainly is a "Room with a View."
The Spokane Public Library does a weekly story time for both toddlers and preschoolers, and both are wonderful. They have a wonderful staff that puts a lot of time and effort into making these story times interactive and educational. A great activity for parents and kids together!
