There is a lot to do here for older children. While they do have an acitivty area for smaller children, I was not pleased with the fact that older children were allowed to run through their area. Add to this the fact that there are parents that let their children run wild (seriously, at a water park?) and I was extremely uncomfortable and on my gaurd the entire visit. Water safety is a serious matter, and I felt that more could be done to make sure parents were watching their young children in the play area.
This small water theme park is a fun way to cool off after a hot hike or a history lesson. Younger folks won’t mind being marooned on Ship Wreck Island or left to wallow in Poly Wog Pond. Older children will enjoy three big water slides, water balloon wars, and the 700-foot-long Crocodile Creek Action River. There’s also mini-golf, minbasketball, pirate-themed magic shows, a picnic area, and a snack bar.
