"space mountain fun"

space mountain is a very thrilling ride sure the wait is longish, but the ride itself is totally worth it. The ride takes you into a flashing light gateway making you look like your going lightspeed to space. Also the ride takes you up a launch pad and then total blackness and a rush downward slanted. Then, you see all types of stuff from space like stars galaxies and black holes making this an incredible ride of your life.

"classic"

This ride is a classic, must go on type of ride when you visit Disney World! Sometime the older rides seem to be more fun than the newer rides. This one is in the dark and like any other roller coaster , it is a thrill all in it's own. Fun for the older kids who won't freak out once they realize that it's pitch black in there and you don't know what's up ahead of you. No upside downs or corkscrews, just old fashion kinda fun!!

"Favorite!"

I've been to Disney quite a few times, and Space Mountain has long been my standing favorite ride. It is mysterious and fun, being inside and in the dark, but it is not the ride for everyone. Older kids would probably enjoy and appreciate this ride than younger ones, but it is a fun ride for (some) adults, as well! It all just depends on how well you like/can take rides.

"Great for Older Kids"

This ride is fun for older kids and adults, but I wouldn't recommend it for younger kids.  It's almost completely in the dark, so younger kids would be frightened plus it's fast and you can't see where you are going.  I would recommend this for kids that are confident enough in the dark.

"My favorite!"

The only thing keeping this ride from being a 10 out of 10 is that I know the Disneyworld one is just a little bit better. The music in the Disneyland one is something that has really been growing on me, but the size of the ride makes you feel like you are never really that high off the ground. Still an incredible experience.

"Space Mountain!"

I grew up always going on this ride. They recently changed the music for this ride but its still just as fun. The waiting que has changed a little as well. Just their way of making the wait more entertaining. It is a rough ride and I'd recommend it for kids 8 or older.

"Space Mountain Coaster "

Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom Park is fun for older kids and huge thrills for teens and adults.  Space Mountain is completely enclosed and dark.  With the new updates, you can barely see your hand in front of your face, on the ride.  So, this ride is probably not the best for the very 1st roller coaster ride.  But, if you have a child that has been on a roller coaster and not scared of the dark this is a good one.

Try to arrive to this coaster early in the morning or take advantage of FastPass.  The lines on this coaster do get rather long!  Have fun!

"Best ride at Magic Kingdom"

Space Mountain is my son's favorite ride in all of Magic Kingdom, and is mine as well. This is a wonderful thrill ride and even waiting on the line is so cool due to all the space-like things around you on the line. I have to say though, if you don't have a fastpass, then you will probably be waiting a long time. I'd definitely recommend this ride to anyone who loves thrill coasters.

"Blast off"

I took my fearless son on this ride while my other 2 went looking for something a little calmer.  This roller coaster isn't the biggest, fastest, or wildest you will ever ride but what creates the experience is being in the dark.  Not being able to see the next turn or drop adds to the thrill.  My son loved it!

Be sure to get a fast pass for this attraction which will save you loads of time or be prepared to wait.

"If you can't get a fastpass there are games to play in the queue line"

This is a high speed attraction that is a favorite of our entire family, tween included. Fastpass is available for Space Mountain, however, the newly designed queue line for this ride includes some video games that can be played with other guests while waiting to board.

Once aboard your your rocket, you will race into the darkness of space, with twists, turns and drops which will thrill you!

Do not miss this attraction while at the Magic Kingdom!
