"a happening place"
The South Shore Cultural is a Chicago landmark and should be on any ones list of places to visit. its right off of lake shore drive, so after a day at the beach one could go to some of the many concerts/galas/events that the center offers. They also offer a full golf course and different classes (through the Chicago Park District). Great venue and great activities, prices vary for golfing and events.
