"Solano County Fair"

What a great surprise.  The Solano County Fair was so nice this year....and clean.  My daughter and I went on a Friday late afternoon until 10pm and I was so happy that I went.  We visited the exhibit halls that had beautiful quilts and art work.  We sat and watched the Alaskian pigs race and cheered them on.  She rode a pony.  We saw the Llama parade, alpacas, baby pigs, chicks being hatched, two baby goats, she got to hold a bunny and see llamas being sheered, and if that wasn't enough, she got to pet an alligator in the reptile area.   I loved the hall this year featuring all of our counties...this reminded me of the California State Fair, which I have always loved.  We rode several of the kids carnival rides too.   And, a big event was the "Splash Dogs".  They were incredible.  As well as seeing the "Spinners" and the Filipino Pavilion.  Great fun.
