Don't know why I wasn't more impressed with this, as most everyone else has been. Don't get me wrong, it was fun. We've gone two years in a row. I think I had high expectations and it was... okay. The last time we went was a few years ago and I understand that they have changed some things about it. We had HORRIBLE service at the Cheesecake Factory which is right in the area where the show was. I think that might have tainted the experience for us. If you are lookign for something to do, it's probably worth it, but I wouldn't say that it is the most fun Christmas attraction in the Seattle area.
We went for the first time this year and it was a blast! There are characters dressed up and toy soldiers playing drums. It went on for a long time. There was less fake snow than i thought there would be but it was still cool. Some of the characters passed out lollipops to the kids which was nice. We had dinner at one of the restaurants right there so it was nice to be able to just run outside and enjoy when it started. Keep in mind that it will be very crowded. We had to put the kids on our shoulders so that they could see but it was worth it.
