I grew up going to Slidewaters and have enjoyed taking my family there for the past two summers. My kids are 3 and 4 and they are able to slide on almost all of the slides either by themselves or with an adult. There's also a great splash park for little kids that offers a nice break from the action. The park offers lots of shaded areas to sit along with plenty of sun. The admission and food prices are a bit high but you are allowed to bring food and drink into the park (just not a cooler--which I don't understand). Once you pay to get in you are able to leave and then return later in the day--which is great with little kids. We took our kids home, had lunch and a nap and went back for more fun in the afternoon.
We took our teenage daughters and younger cousins for a day in the sun. We had a great time! There were so many slides, the lines werent too long, and there was lots to do! I loved that their are areas of shade so you got get overheated. Pack a lunch or buy lunch there and plan on spending at least half the day. They have changing rooms, showers there. Come join the fun!
Slide Waters has something for all ages from a toddler play pool to a completely in the dark slide for the most adventurous family members! There is a nice hot tub and a swimming pool, tube slides as well as regular ones. You can buy food there or bring your own food into the park, but coolers are not allowed. Check the weather and make sure it's not too windy because it is up on a hill side and wind can make a mildly warm day too cold.
