"Simple and fun"

A group of us came out here to pick Christmas trees the day after Thanksgiving in 2007. The farm has a good variety of Christmas trees including our favorite - douglas fir. They provide you with a saw and rope to tie your prized tree onto your car is necessary. The staff is helpful and friendly especially to first-timers like us. This is a cash-only establishment, so bring your greenbacks. Visa and Mastercard are no good here.

We brought my 10 month old son at the time and just carried him in our Ergo which was easy and comfortable for him. He loved grabbing onto the pines needles and crawling around when we put him down on the ground.

We had lunch beforehand, but lots of families had brought a picnic lunch to enjoy in the truck of their minivans, SUVs or station wagons. There's no store or other activities beyond chopping down a tree. Sweet and simple.

Our tree was also awesome and lasted well through the new year.
