Six Flags is a great place to go, whether you're with your whole family or as a fun date. With younger kids, however, there aren't as many things for them to do, obviously, since there are many roller coasters. They would like the shows, though, and there is a good little kid's section. The Titan is my favorite ride, but my husband prefers the wooden coasters like the Texas Giant. Awesome for the family, but not very easy on the budget!
I think this is a decent Six Flags but in my opinion it is far from the best. They need to add more roller coasters and update the park some. It was still an enjoyable trip here but I would definitely go to a different Six Flags before visiting this one again.
Well let me begin by saying that the kids seemed to enjoy Six Flags, not so much us adults though. I found it to be very old and in need of updating. I don't understand why it is hard for places to touch up the paint...it makes it look so much better. The lines were also really really long!!! This is probably the major complaint. I'm not sure you can blame this on Six Flags, but it is a problem. Also when you stand in line for a long time they only let you ride for a minute or so and then it is over. I know what you are going to say...this keeps the line moving. Like I said you really can't really blame Six Flags for this problem. The kids had a blast and want to go back, so we probably will some day.
Six Flags over Texas is One of my favorite amusement parks for many reasons. I live in ohio and we have a six flags here but it doesn't compare to the one in texas. The employees are very friendly and helpful when trying to find a specific ride. The facilities are clean, the bathrooms are being cleaned all the time and they do not smell. They have a wide range of rides for kids and adults. Many games and food concessions are available all over the park. They also have many benches and sitting areas for handicap as well.
I rarely give anything 5 stars but this is my favorite amusement park EVER.
Several reasons:
1)It's always clean.
2)Employees are friendly
3)The rides actually fit an average person. Some of the other parks have rides that only an annorexic person could fit in.
4)Enough rest stops and rest rooms.
5)Enough water fountains and concessions.
6)Excellent variety of rides. Adults and children can have fun. Even a few rides (Carousel) approppiate for babies.
7)It's cheaper than any other parks. Military Discount, Coke cans..anything will give you a good discount. Get the season pass if possible, you won't regret it!
I have to admit I was pleasantly suprised at Six Flags over Texas. The people were all very nice. It wasn't very crowded. If we wanted to ride something twice and there wasn't a line, they had no problem with it. It doesn't have the magic or characters from Disney, but it just might be more fun.
If you enjoy amusement parks, you will enjoy this. It does however seem smaller than other Six Flags. If you happen by during the holiday's they have great parties. One of my favorites is the fright night weekends before Halloween. Attractions range from scary to not so scary.

This is a great theme park for families!! There is something to do for any age!!! The park is a nice size too so it breaks up the crowd a little bit. The food is very good at this park and reasonably priced as well. And the price is right for a theme park.
Six flags amusement park is fun for the whole family. There is a small area for smaller children and of course big ride for older kids. If you only have smaller kids I'd recommend going during Holiday in the Park (around Christmas) because there are lots of extra things for your family to do and the price for tickets just seems like a bit much for only the ride area for small children, or bring somebody that can take turns watching the kids and letting you go ride big rides.
I grew up going here and got season passes every year but we recently went for Christmas in 2009 with my niece (age 6), my nephew (age 3) and my daughter (age 3). They all had a lot of fun. My daughter loved all the little kid rides and did a lot of the extra Christmas stuff. She also loved the loony toons characters and the Christmas characters they had around the park.
Six Flags is my favorite place to go to ride rides! There are rides for everyone, those who don't like big rides, little ones who can't ride big rides, and BIG roller coasters for people like me that will ride anything. We had season passes last year and I never got tired of it! The parking and food is expensive.
I love Six Flags Over Texas. It has a nice variety of rides, both intense and more mellow. It's not too big - I'm sure you could get lost, but not for long! The price is average and if you get a seasons pass it's not bad at all (though I hate paying for parking!) And I love that in the different sections of the park they've worked to make it really feel different - music, food, decor all reflects the area you're in. Wish I could go more often!
Six Flags Over Texas is the place to go if you're looking for lots of fun roller coasters! They have everything from the classic Texas Giant coaster to the newer Titan coaster. They also have a great area for younger kids with small rides for them. Expect high prices on food inside the park, but that's to be expected.
some of the rides are a bit old, but they have newer ones as well. it can get really crowded and be prepared to bring your wallet for food and souvenirs. they always have a ton of things going on there. it is kind of a must see if you are in the dallas or fort worth area.
six flags is the best place to go as a family. I love going there their is lots of rides there's rides for everyone but for the kid rides you have to be a certain height but there are some rides that allow small children to go on.I love going there with my family.
My family and myself had LOTS of fun at six flags. We went during off season and there were no lines for the rides AT ALL! There were ample ampunts of food and drink. This amusement is no for people under the age of 5. The environment of the park is very clean and there is lots to do. If you go to the park at the right time, you will have tons of funnn!!
Six Flags Over Texas is the most popular tourist attraction in the state. The park is fullof gravity-defying roller coasters, including the top-rated wooden Texas Giant coaster. It also features a parachute drop, a number of thrill and entertainment shows, and Looney Tunes characters roaming the grounds. One of the best attrations here is called the Right Stuff, a virtual-reality ride that creates the full sensation of supersonic flight.
