The TUSPM Shoe Museum includes roughly 900 pairs of shoes, 250 of which are on display on the sixth floor of the college building. Admission to the museum is free, but visits must be scheduled in advance by calling 215-625-5243 or by email.
A unique diversion, the Shoe Museum at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine displays footwear belonging to celebrities such as Ringo Starr, Julius Erving, Lucille Ball, Mamie Eisenhower, and Ronald and Nancy Reagan. There are also shoes from around the world, tiny Chinese shoes for bound feet, huge shoes for circus giants, tap shoes, ballet slippers, and many more.
