"An alright park"

This is definitely not a favorite, more because of the atmosphere than the actual park itself.  I never feel real safe when we've been here, but unfortunately it is really the only covered park in Paso providing shade on those hot days.  The play structure is great - just try to go when you see other families there and/or go with friends.

"We like it"

We really like this park; I have a 2-year-old and there are lots of fun slides and activities for him.  There is a dragon and a mote, good shade, and two playground areas.  The park is not fun in the late afternoon during the week, however, when the kids get off school. Better as a morning or weekend excursion.

"Our Favorite Paso Park!"

This is my family's favorite park to visit in Paso Robles!  They recently remolded the playground and made it into a fantastic place for the kids.  They have 2 separate playground areas- one for big kids and one for little kids.  They also have a neat sand pit and a huge dragon statue that blows mist out of it's nose.

"Nice park, bad location"

This park is fairly new, so it's clean and well maintained.  The play structures are suited from 3 years and up.  There are a few too many places where little ones could fall.  The huge downside to this park is that it's not in the best neighborhood.  Unfortunately, you get a lot of people loitering around.

"Midieval Park"

Sherwood park has a midieval theme complete with a sword in the stone.  It is a lot of fun to climb on the big rocks and pretend you're slaying dragons.  The playground has been newly remodeled, so it's nice and clean.  I've only been to one section of the park, so I can't speak for the rest of it, but the part I've seen is really fun.  The only downside is that I'm not a huge fan of the neighborhood it's in.  It's not awful by any means, but it's not my favorite.  Check it out and make the decision for yourself though.  :)
