The SF Jewish Community Center (JCCSF) has a pool that's available to the public for $24 day pass fee. Open during family time (check website for schedule). Pool toys are not permitted during family swim and only U.S. Coast Guard-approved life vests are permitted.
This says family pass to swim is $10.00 I think this is out dated. They have a great, clean, new facility, and could not be more family friendly. Family dressing rooms, and banks of strollers in the womens dressing room. Lots of free swim hours as well. The memberships are expensive and I believe the day passes are more like $24.00 each. But they have 2 pools and hot tub, and sauna's. One pool is for laps, and one is about 90 degree pool for children and older folks. We started taking the baby in the heated pool at about 3 months and she loves it. The dressing rooms are awesome, except the shower benches, which are great for kids, do not seem attached to the wall that well. They also have lots of other kid classes in the rest of the JCC, yoga, tot gym etc. I think this is a much better deal than la petite baleen.
