Tours depart from the Scott Arboretum Offices and are free and open to the public.
One hundred and ten acres surrounding Swarthmore College constitute the ollege’s Scott Arboretum. Come here for a quiet stroll through collections of flowering cherries, roses, conifers, daffodils, dogwoods, lilacs, hollies, rhododendrons, and more. Specialty gardens include the Theresa Long Garden of Fragrance, the Dean Bond Rose Garden, and the Winter Garden, which provides longed-for colors in the gray of winter.
