Anything science can be found at this museum.  It's got a planatarium, dome theatre, and a myriad of exhibits, including "Destination Space", "Science Live", "Whodunit: The Science of Solving Crimes", and "Fighter Pilot" showing in the dome theatre.
You can even schedule for your family to spend the night at the museum learning about science under the "Bright Nights!" program.  The Science Museum Oklahoma was previously called, the "Omniplex".

"Hands on Museum"

This museum  has a fantastic area for young children where they can play and learn while their parents sit and watch or play along.  There are many exhibits some of which change from time to time.  There is a Imax movie theater as well as many many other things to do, the tornado  tunnel and space section are two of my kids favorites.  There is a wonderful indoor playground as well.  I find it a little pricey but by searching for good offers it would be a fun day for your family.

They have a shadow maker where you stand against the wall and it photographs your shadow, a giant pendelum, & Much Much MORE!!! =) I would reccomend going here no matter the cost your whole family will enjoy this!

"Oklahoma Science Museum"

We've only been to the Oklahoma Science Museum once and just loved it.  It's kind of expensive to get in but it's indoors which is nice during the summer and it's located right next to the OKC Zoo so that's great too.  It's a very interactive, hands on place which my kids absolutely loved.

"Explore To Your Hearts Content"

I still refer to the Science Museum of Oklahoma as the Omniplex since that is what it was known as during my childhood. I now take my children to the museum and we can literally spend hours of our day exploring all of the exhibits and watching the films that are available. My children's favorite exhibits are the hands on and the indoor playground. The Dome theatre is one of the highlights are the museum, while not free, it is totally worth it. The best way to take advantage of the museum is to purchase a membership for the entire year since the museum has so much to explore, the membership would allow for multiple visits throughout the year.

"Hands on FUN!"

A bit on the pricey side, but the kids had a great time! It is definitely an interactive experience, with a tree to climb, segways to test drive, a murder to solve, and even some gym mats upstairs in the Gymnastics Hall of Fame area. We're considering a year pass for next year so we can go again and again.

"Science Rules!!!"

We have so much fun here! Something for all ages and my boys love the gift shop! The play areas are wonderful. When the Summer gets too hot we just use our membership to head over to the Science Museum for a couple of hours! Don't forget the gardens outside- I didn't know about them the first few visits and they are beautiful!

"Great fun and the price is right"

We love science museums-especially hands on kind.  We are used to paying $15 and up for adult tickets, so we were pleasantly surprised these were around $10 per adult.
Our 8yrd old LOVED the Gadget Tree.  He also loved one of the temporary exhibits "Who Dun It" which was great fun.  There are exhibits that range from space to tinkering/building.  There is also a planetarium and dome theatre.  The gadget tree isn't like anything we've seen in places like this, but the other exhibits are what I would consider the norm for the average kids science museum.  But there are two things that I feel earns this place a 5 star rating: Kidspace and Science Live.  Now, perhaps I shouldn't count science live because we were not able to do this event, but after reading the flyer/brochure about it I was hooked.  Our next trip through OKC will be when a Science Live event is taking place.
Kidspace:  this is very well done and a fantastic idea.  There are sections for all age groups (including toddlers) and a nursing room which has a smaller/quieter play area and monitor screens so you can keep an eye on the older kids in other kidspace play areas.
