"best park in p'cola"

This park, by far, is the absolute BEST park in Pensacola!!!!!!!!  Why?  Because it's covered, so you can actually go and play during the blazing heat waves we have so frequently.  There's a nice hill for older kids to roll down for even more fun and it's right next to the water too.....can't beat that! :)

"Great center"

This is a great addition to west Pensacola!
We found it shortly after it was built and have been back many times to visit the playground. It's the only covered/shaded playground on the west side of town. My children love the spider wall. I love that it's shaded and the flooring is not sand/dirt etc..it's a solid soft surface (recycled tires)? The community center has bathrooms that are open during the week ..but it seems they are building outdoor bathroom facility now too. Great waterfront view to walk and some covered areas for a picnic.  The center offers all kinds of activites and I like that it has a library, gym and game room for families to use ..free or very inexpensive.
Check it out!

"Great park, beautiful view!"

We discovered this park during a playdate.  The park is great for all ages.  There ramps, bridges, and things to climb.  The park is set next to a beautiful community center that is available for rental and also has classes and continuing education available.  A couple things to pay attention to: On one side of the park, there is a very low brick wall.  While we were there a child cut his face on the brick badly so remind your children to be careful when running around.  There is a beautiful boardwalk with benches to sit on.  Keep ahold of your little ones because there is no guardrail.  Also, this area is often in the newspaper as not being safe to swim/drink/etc. so stay out of the water!  It is still beautiful and the kids will love the adventure and the playground!
