Sanchez Adobe was built around 1842 and 1846 by Francisco Sanchez, who owned Rancho San Pedro. Sanchez once led forces in the Battle of Santa Clara against the U.S.
The historic adobe building and grounds show different time periods in history, including the Ohlone Native American period, the Spanish, the Mexican, and the American periods.
