San Ramon's Central park offers acres of green space, picnic areas, play areas and more!
This park has an interesting play structure, a teeter-totter, a man-made creek and cool water fountains to splash in. Especially on hot summer days, the water fountain is an instant hit with my toddler boys ages 3.5 and 1.5. The only problem is that the fountain randomly turns off and on so the kids get a little frustrated and bored when there is no water coming and have to wait for it to turn on (this could take several minutes - absolutely unbearable for a toddler!). For some reason, there isn't a sensor or a button to turn the water on like most fountains have. The playground area was also remodeled this past summer so there is a brand new play structure. It's nice but it's really not meant for toddlers as it doesn't even have a kiddie swing. The play equipment is really designed for older kids.
