I had a hard time enjoying the fair because everything was terribly overpriced. Each ride was between $3 to $5. Games were similarly priced. This is after spending $20 to park the car and buy a ticket.
How can you get into the carnival spirit when your wallet is emptying faster than a bucket of candy?
IPlus, we saw the entire fair in about 3 hours. There were only 2 rows of livestock, a small enclosure of chickens and rabbits, and 1 very lame pony ride.
Next time I need my fix of pig races, cotton candy, and carnival rides, I'll wait for the California State Fair.
