"Great for kid/baby shopping"

My family loves this mall for 3 reasons: the food court, the ice rink where the St. Louis Blues practice, and the abundance of baby clothing stores. Old Navy, Gap Outlet, Gymboree Outlet, Children's Place, Carter's and Baby Depot in one place make it possible to buy an entire wardrobe on the cheap in just one visit. The giant indoor playground makes it perfect for bad weather days. There is a big carousel in the middle of the food court. There's also a unique toy store. Moms also enjoy Bed Bath and Beyond and Marshall's.

"Lots of walking"

The St. Louis Mills has about every store you could ever want, you'll know it too because I think you have to walk three miles to check them all out. There are some really great and unique play lands for your kids, so take a break there when your tired. There is also a pretty good food court with your standard fare and a few chain restaurants. Be warned, you'll have to do some driving to get here as its located away from more populated areas of St. Louis.

"Just So So"

The St. Louis Mills mall is debatable on whether it is worth the time or not... it really depends on why you plan on going or what you plan on doing.  If you are going to bargain shop for kids or babies, it's probably not a bad option, with an Old Navy Outlet, Gymboree, Carters Outlet, The Children's Place, Burlington (Baby Depot) and many more, it seems as though the children's clothing stores don't have a problem staying open there.  Also, there is a nice ice skating rink in the mall as well.  It is good for a dual purpose, if your family enjoys ice skating, it's a great place to go ice skating as a family, if your family enjoys hockey, check on their website for the St. Louis Blues' practice schedule, as the Blues practice at this facility a couple of times each month, making it a cheap (free) place to watch professional hockey players get ready for their game.
Also appealing to children, there is a nice play area for kids, and a train that goes throughout the mall that my two year old loves!  It makes shopping with the kids enjoyable!
There are a few other stores worth mentioning for adults / teens, but there are also several open stores in the mall that makes you feel like there isn't much in it.  If you are going for the whole effect and plan to eat a good lunch or dinner (their food court is great as far as options of sit down restaurants and food court options), ice skate or watch ice skating some, and shop a little.  If you are going just to shop for anything besides kids, another mall is probably a better option.

"Fun fun and more fun!!"

We have family in St Charles and when we visit,we always make it a point if time allows to go shopping and one of the places we like to go is the St. Louis Mills Mall. It has wide open spaces and also has a jump place so that my kids can run off all their energy! It's just a great place to go and hang out and not too busy or crowded

"Too crowded"

There really is a ton of stuff to do at the Mills Mall.  From the NASCAR trake, skate park, and ice rink, there is something for everyone.  Tons of stores that you cant find anywhere else in the St. Louis area.  Large food court as well.  Parking however is usually a nightmare and the roads around the mall are very confusing.  There are typically too many people at this my for my comfort level.

"OK mall"

This is a fun mall to take the kids to if you want to entertain them and let them play, but it's just a so-so mall for shopping.  I rarely ever buy anything here, but my kids always have a blast going to this mall to play, as there is lots to do here.  They also have an ice-rink you can rent ice-skates and go ice-skating.  My son(6yo) loves the nascar store as they have lots of games to play and cars to drive.  Good food-court and a handful of restaurants.

"A lot of things to do"

St Louis Mills has tons of stores, including some outlet-type for both kids and adults.  The indoor ice rink is great - and depending the day you can catch the St Louis Blues practice as well.  Indoor mini golf, skate park, a big play area and food court offer ameneties for all ages.

"Indoor outlet mall"

This mall is nice because you can get the outlet deals, and still feel like you are in a regular mall.  It's wonderful for families and children.  There is an indoor trampoline, carousel, huge playground, ice skating rink, glow-in-the-dark putt-putt, etc.  They have so many things for children, it's hard to name them all.  Many of the stores and restaurants are also for children, but there are quite a few stores for adults as well.  There is also a movie theatre.  Great fun when the weather is bad and you wanna stay inside.
