Indoor entertainment center with climbing structures, slides, fitness programs and seasonal events all under the safari jungle theme. Fun place for birthday parties and playdates.
Sock are required for play.
Wow! This place has a great play structure for the kids to run through. They have slides & mazes that are suitable for all ages. They even have a baby section to keep them safe from the older children. There is plenty of space outside of the structure for children to run around and "play". The pop-in play time is structured hourly and determined by what stamp you have on your hand for that hour. It's pretty expensive per kid, about $10. That adds up for my 6 kids. It deserves 6 starts, but got one less because of admission price for 1 hour of play.
My 4yrs olds went to Safari Run's fitness classes. They had a lot of fun.The Coach is wonderful with the little kids. My kids still talk about food and exercises that are good for you. My daughter gained a lot of confidence in trying new things (like at a playground) because of these classes.
We were invited to a birthday party at Safari Run. The ages of the kids were from 2-12. The youngest kids were too young. The oldest kids got bored easily. It was most appropriate for 4-8.
This is one of those indoor play structure places. The play structure is a little small, although my kids had a good time. It has three levels, three slides, and lots of places to hide. I think my kids would have loved it if it had just been about play time. The staff tried to do activities, though, and that really didn't work. They tried to play hide-n-go-seek, but it wasn't organized well for that many kids.
It can also be extremely loud in there. Sound proofing is not that great. Oh, and be warned, there is a shop as you enter with cool looking toys. Be prepared to tell your kids no.
My only other complaint about the place is that they did not have the best supervision skills. At the end, they let you out through a small door into the lobby. Its a very tight squeeze. Because of this, my kids managed to get ahead of me and, with it being so loud, they could not hear me calling them. The staff funneled them outside of the party into the parking lot! Without me! I came out, freaking out - um, where are my kids? They were sent outside by the staff!!!
Overall, I don't think I would pay to go back, but I know my kids would have fun at a party here.
Safari Run has a nice wooden play area with some puffy gym-mat like features that the kids love to play on. There is also a smaller toddler area. It is fun, but can be pricey especially during their open gym time, which is charged by the hour and by the kid. If you have more than one kid, it is cost prohibitive. I also don't like the arcade that parties are fed into at the end. I don't think it fits with the "mission" of Safari Run and takes away from the other amenities of the place.
The kids actually really like this place. I have been to a couple birthday parties here. I don't enjoy it though - nothing creative, educational or interesting. I guess it's really good for gross motor skills though - I will give it that. A large indoor space with climbing structures, slides and ropes - all with a "safari" theme.
